Richard Cooper

With nearly 30 years’ experience working in technology, Richard Cooper takes a very hands-on approach in his role as Technology Trust’s director of programmes, helping charities gain access and get to grips with the latest technology. In addition to developing strategic partnerships with key organisations such as TechSoup, Microsoft and the Salesforce Foundation, Richard has led major grant-making programmes for Technology Trust, delivering nearly £130m of technology donations into the not for profit sector. He also serves as Technology Trust’s CIO, looking after its internal IT strategy and requirements. Previously, Richard held technology, management and consulting roles across the industry working for a variety of companies including Gartner.
