Swiss Post wins M&S logistics deal
Swiss Post Solutions has been awarded a logistics, mailroom and record management support contract by retailer Marks & Spencer, the company announced this week. The deal will see mailroom operations at three of M&S’s London locations – including its head office – involving in excess of 40,000 items of incoming – and 4,000 outgoing – mail per month handed over to Swiss Post.
“In addition, Swiss Post Solutions will be responsible for all courier activity, press and food samples and bulk facilities deliveries,” according to a company statement, which adds that the deal also features “a review of the present methods to identify and assess opportunities for the migration of manual ways of working to more digital processes.”
